Building prototype BMS controller

Building prototype BMS controller

For the controller I also have all the components except for one of the three relays. The two I installed are for controlling a Blue Sea Systems Remote Battery Switch (RBS) and the one I will install later is for controlling the active balancer.

This PCB has many more components including lots of capacitors. There’s also the impressive ESP32 module with Ethernet port and Power over Ethernet adapter. As this is a prototype, I installed that on headers so I can still take it off.

I also still need to install two RJ11 jacks: one for the cell boards and one for the RBS. I want to double check the pinouts before soldering the tiny wires. Also, I have been distracted by the new 3D scanner that arrived.
