Foredeck seat completed

The new Bosch Colt battery powered palm router is great. I tested the dust extraction and with the Festool extractor it’s perfect.

plugging the screw holes is very easy with just the on-tool functions. I simply draw a 6mm circle and using a 1/8” bit, either cut the outside to create the plug or helix cut the inside where the screw holes are. Most of the time is spent on color and grain matching. Below a picture of the bottom after plugging all the holes, just before wiping some oil on.

Now we need to do a fitting aboard to find out if the mounting knobs are the right diameter. I can then measure for the adjustment needed and print them in ASA. I decided to glue the bolts into the knobs so that it can be mounted without tools.
