Here is our next generation of the hydroponic micro greens grow pod. I think this will be the final version: it’s a Kratky setup that you setup to go from seed to harvest in one go.

It has a reservoir that has just the right amount of water to grow the seeds all the way to harvest.The changes: a bit taller to hold more water so no watering is needed. No drain and the print uses scarf joints to improve water tightness even more.The grow medium is also 3D printed and reusable, so the only things going in is seed plus water. There’s two lids used during the first couple days: a flat blackout lid during germination, where we also mist the seeds once a day. When sprouting seeds push the lid up it is replaced by a transparent humidity dome which is only needed for one day. This pod was started with seed 6 days ago.
