LTO battery test

I started my car which has a large 5.7 liter Hemi V8 engine with 1.4kW starter while running a trace with my oscilloscope in order to determine how much current for how long must be delivered from the battery to the starter.

How to read the graph: Left to right is time. Each large square is 0.2 second, and each small mark is 0.02 second. Upward is starter current: each large square is 500 amps, and each small mark is 50 amps. So the initial peak of about 1.2 squares is 600 A. After one square (0.2 s) it has fallen to about 300 A, and after about four squares (0.8 s) the engine is running.
