When our provider ceased operations, we lost our blog. These interruptions keep happening and we got tired of it so we decided to do everything ourselves. This new blog now runs on our own MacMini server, connected to our cable Internet ISP. This will also replace our Facebook page that has become very difficult to manage.
I have copied the last couple Facebook posts to get a start and define some of the categories. When you open a post you see the category right above it, which you can click/tap for an index of all posts in tht category. You can also enter these in the search phrase. I think it’s much better organized than we had before and best of all, this is open source so it won’t disappear. Of course it is likely that our server or connection goes down as this isn’t a data center but for now I have faith and I have a plan B if needed ;-)
You probably notice that there’s no signup and no advertising: this is just the free blog as we’ve been running since 2003. Please create a bookmark and simply come back to check out new posts. I will try to post links to our Facebook page for a while but plan to completely go away from it in the future.
