Wiring the RBS cradle

Finally received everything I needed to finish this project. The pictures above and below show every wire and every connection. I used a Wago for the black wire running back to battery negative or busbar because that wire needs to be installed after we mount this module where we need it. All other connections are soldered.

You can see the 2A fuse first has a diode before connecting to the RJ11 connectors to prevent back-feeding from another RBS module linked to it.

I used telephone wire to connect the original switch, which required soldering the female spade connectors because the crimp alone wasn’t reliable enough. I plan to make a diy switch module that has RJ11 jacks as well.
